Welcome Message from AOA President
To all Ostomates Family members, nurses, doctors and Friends in Asia
I wish to extend greetings to all of you at this time. I want to tell you that the JOA's Planning Committee responsible for organizing the 6th AOA Conference scheduled to take place in Tokyo in November 2008 has been working very hard to plan the best possible programme for you.
The Japan Ostomy Association promises all of you who plan to attend that this Conference will be an unforgettable experience for you. The venue is the Olympic Memorial Youth Centre in Shinjuku, Tokyo. The cost is unbelievably low for Japan, and even as compared to other cities in Asia. JOA wants to make this Conference affordable to everyone. The programme will be very varied, and will have something for everyone.
So please set aside the following dates in your diary, November 14 to16, 2008 for the Conference itself, and extra time either before or after the Conference for your touring pleasure. The hospitable people of Japan, and your hosts, the Japan Ostomy Association, are waiting to welcome you. I hope to see a record number of ostomates and their family members in Tokyo in November next year.
